We live in a wild world of convenience and unpredictable weather, which is why smelling good at all times is important. Although the evolution of mankind has come with great inventions to make our lives easier, it has also caused irreparable harm to our environment. Sustainability poses a question on how long we can do that for while turning a blind eye on the impact it has on our planet now and the future. Wild, as a company that produces deodorants which are purely natural, is taking a stand at not compromising our planet’s sustainability in the name of convenience.

Deodorants come in varying forms – but most of them aren’t packaged in recyclable materials, or free from toxins. According to the latest research, it’s estimated that eight million pieces of plastic end up in our oceans every single day – including some of our reliable roll-ons.
So, with this in mind, Wild deodorant’s choice of developing a toxin and plastic free product and actually putting it out for public usage is a very exciting one. Our bodies are now used to applying the chemical oriented version of deodorants and therefore takes time before getting used to an all-natural one, but it eventually assimilates to the change and there’s no looking back thereafter. That fact, alone, should make us reflect on the damage these toxins have on our skin – from rashes to blocked pores.

Wild is all-natural. There are no sulphates, or parabens – which scientifically are suggested to be able to disrupt hormones in the body and harm fertility and reproductive organs. Parabens are capable of affecting birth outcomes and increase the risk of cancer. Luckily, Wild deodorant does not have such chemicals in it.
Packaged with three compostable deodorant refills which have amazing and appealing scents, the aluminium and recycled plastic case look so stylish, and it is so easy to put together. Take off the lid, unscrew the base to the bottom, pop in the Patchouli and Sandalwood deodorant refill, replaced the lid, and re-screwed the base to the top. It is that simple to use.

After a week, your body will feel settled into the natural deodorant. Now, even on the hottest days you won’t experience excessive sweat, or smell – the Patchouli and Sandalwood scent lingers, and will keep you feeling fresh. Most of the smells are unisex, so it is for the whole family.
As if it couldn’t get any better, when you’re done with one of the plant-based refill packs (they should last about two months each), you can simply pop it in the compost or garden waste bin to decompose and help feed other plants.
The refill scents include Fresh Cotton and Sea Salt, and Jasmine and Mandarin Blossom. There is also a sultry, woody Patchouli and Sandalwood scent first. You would be pleased to see that the pack has no unnecessary packaging material, and it is totally plastic-free with helpful illustrated instructions on the inner lid. This is how a deodorant should be, less hassle and friendly to the environment.
