The company produces publications, resources and training opportunities for Early Childhood Education; they are also committed to an early childhood educational philosophy and practice that is grounded in Education for Sustainable Development (ESD).<\/p>\n<p>SchemePlay is working with OMEP UK, a voluntary organisation committed to promoting the Rights of the Child, on the recently launched <strong>Early Childhood Education for Sustainable Citizenship (ESC) Award<\/strong>. The Award has been developed to support a wide range of early childhood providers including childminders, preschools, and nurseries who are working with parents in supporting the objectives of Education for sustainable development in early childhood.<\/p>\n<p>The associated resources and training materials offer an optimistic, and pro-active approach to the subject that celebrates sustainable achievements and innovations and encourages children to feel themselves involved in the creation of a more sustainable future.<\/p>\n<p>The scheme is organised around an OMEP \u2018ESC Passport\u2019 that is provided.
