Tops are constantly identifying and acting on areas for improvement in their day-to-day operations. GECCO is Cheryl’s vehicle for sharing what they learn with others in Early Years childcare and education.
DONATECheryl, a leading advocate for sustainable business and education, gained global attention in 2017 for banning plastic glitter in Tops nurseries and replacing commercial baby wipes with homemade alternatives.

Tops aim to stop or reduce the use of single-use plastics. Their work includes washable aprons, “Switch it off” stickers, parent communication by email, reduced printing, and practical savings reinvested into greener improvements.
